Hon. Jeffery King (Ret.) – of Counsel

The Honorable Jeffrey King (Ret.), recently retired from the California Court of Appeal, is of- counsel to the firm. He practiced as a trial lawyer for 19 years. His focus was personal injury litigation. Mr. King represented plaintiffs as well as governmental entities in matters dealing with products liability, dangerous conditions of public property, premises liability, medical malpractice and automobile accidents. He handled claims for wrongful death and catastrophic injuries, including brain injury, quadriplegia, paraplegia and amputation of an extremity. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Mr. King was appointed to the San Bernardino County Superior Court in 1995, where he served as a trial judge for 7 years handling primarily personal injury matters. In 2003, he was appointed by the Governor to the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Two.

He has been honored with the prestigious Robert Traynor Appellate Justice of the Year award. He has been acknowledged as Judge of the year by the San Bernardino County Bar Assn., Western San Bernardino County Bar Assn., and the Inland Empire Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
